STORIES FROM AFRICA
Everyone in the school from Infants to Year 6 is working on a project about stories from Africa. Each year group is reading a different book.
In Year 4 the children are reading about the King of the Beasts who doesn't want to make his own house.
In Year 5 we are reading a book which teaches us the importance of sharing. It also gives us the opportunity to look at life in a village in Kenya.

STORIES FROM AROUND THE WORLD
In year 5 we are starting a new project in the literacy class. We are going to start working with stories from the book "Stories from Around the World" by Heather Amery, published by Usborne.
The first story we are going to look at is called "How Birds Got Bright Feathers" and it is a traditional story from South America.
